Beyond the familiar "yoga" lies a rich tapestry of 8 limbs, each contributing to a holistic practice. While asanas (physical postures) are the ones we often associate with yoga, there's so much more to explore and embrace.
Hi, I’m mary!
As a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher with over six years of practice, I’m here to help you slow down, reflect, and align with your true self. My mission is to create a peaceful, supportive space where you can explore your physical, mental, and emotional boundaries, all while fostering a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you.
Yoga, to me, is more than a physical practice—it's a journey of self-discovery, alignment, and mindfulness. I focus on integrating breath awareness, alignment, and intentional movement into each session to help you find balance not only in your body but in your life. Through these practices, we cultivate resilience, self-compassion, and inner peace, allowing you to move through life with purpose and clarity.
In every class, I encourage you to pause, listen to your body, and make space for reflection. Yoga is an invitation to align your actions with your values, find calm amidst the chaos, and nurture yourself in a way that fosters true well-being—on and off the mat.
Let's take this journey together, embracing the power of slowing down, finding inner balance, and enjoying the process of becoming the best version of yourself—mindfully, joyfully, and with intention.
Asanas (Postures): The physical aspect of yoga, known as asanas, involves a series of postures designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and balance. These postures are not just about physical fitness; they are a way to align and energize the body, preparing it for deeper practices.
Meditation: Meditation is the practice of mindfulness and inner stillness. It is through meditation that we can quiet the mind, reduce stress, and cultivate a sense of inner peace. This practice helps us connect with our inner self, fostering spiritual growth and awareness.
Breathing Exercises (Pranayama): or breath control, is a vital component of yoga. Through intentional and mindful breathing exercises, we can regulate our energy, calm the mind, and support the body's natural healing processes. Breathwork serves as a bridge between the physical and mental aspects of our being.
